When adding news documents, there are so many platforms that have to be updated with the information. As always, we are trying to cut down the time you spend on these daily, tedious activities.
Last week we enabled a new sharing feature into your Fireside Web platform. The way you publish and feature news documents has been updated. We have also enhanced the sharing features to include social media!
Instead of the green “publish” and “feature” buttons, there is a “share” button for each news article.
At the top of the pop up you will see the “Publish to Web” and “Feature this document on the Web” check boxes. These do what the green/grey buttons did previously.
You also have the ability to share your news documents on Facebook and Twitter with the click of a button. The “Connect to Facebook” button posts the news document on the Congressman’s wall. The “Share via Twitter” button will tweet a link to the news document from the Congressman’s twitter account.
By clicking the “Share/Publish” you can share the news with all your friends and followers!
